Hammond PHC50JGA 50VA 120V to 24V Control Transformer, 2.08A

The PHC50JGA is a 50VA control transformer that converts a 120V primary to a 24V secondary rated 2.08A. It is an open style, chassis mount member of the PHC Series, made for relays, pilot lights and other low voltage, low power control use.

It is the 50VA, 2.08A step up from the 25VA PHC25JGA for 24V control circuits powered from 120V. Electrically, the PHC50JGA is rated 50VA with a 120V primary and a 24V secondary at 2.08A, for 60 Hz operation.

Overall dimensions are 2.63 in (67 mm) high (C), 4.00 in (102 mm) wide (A) and 2.50 in (64 mm) deep (B), with mounting hole centers (D) of 3.56 in (90 mm). The transformer mounts directly to a chassis and comes with 10" leads for wiring to the control circuit. Shipping weight is 2.09 lbs (0.95 kg).

The series table covers 25VA and 50VA units with primary voltages of 120V, 208V, 347V, 480V and 600V feeding a 24V secondary, plus a 50VA version with a 24V primary and 24 VCT secondary, so the same open style format can be matched to the supply voltage available in the panel.
