Hammond PF32000T12BK24 65 CFM 24V DC Type 12 Filter Fan, Black

The PF32000T12BK24 is a 65 CFM Type 12 filter fan (Filterfan) from the PF GEN4 Series in RAL 9011 Black, made for low-voltage 24V DC control panels. It pulls filtered air into electrical and electronic enclosures to carry away heat from the equipment inside, while maintaining a UL-tested NEMA Type 12 seal against the enclosure.

This is the 24V DC version: it consumes just 5W (0.21 A per the installation manual), uses ball bearings and is supplied with 2 wires, 310 mm long, instead of a terminal strip. Unimpeded airflow is 65 CFM with a free-flow capacity of 37 W/K and a maximum static pressure of 61 Pa. Paired with the colour-matched PFA30000BK exhaust filter, the combination delivers 38 CFM and 21 W/K. Rated noise level is 40 dB (A) to EN ISO 3741.

The housing and guard are sprayed thermoplastic, self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, made from heat-resistant ABS-FR. The fan measures 202 x 202 x 81 mm (height x width x installation depth), and the Type 12 filter mat is grade G 4 (DIN EN 779) with a filtration efficiency of 0.91.

Installation uses the patented Click & Fit design, so no hardware is needed: cut a 177 mm opening (+1/-0) in material up to 2 mm thick, or 178 mm for material over 2 mm and under 3 mm. Unlike the AC models, this DC fan may be fitted in any position, and at 81 mm it is the shallowest fan in the 65 CFM family. Type 12 / IP 55 protection applies only when installed as specified, with the foam gasket intact. Keep at least 30.5 cm (12 in) between arcing parts and filters per UL508A sec. 22, and have a qualified electrician make the connection.

The fan is UL Recognized to UL 508 (category NITW2/8, UL File #E175229), its motor is CSA approved, and the part is REACH and RoHS compliant.
