Hammond PF11000T12LG24 16 CFM Type 12 Filter Fan, 24V DC, Light Gray

The PF11000T12LG24 is a 16 CFM Type 12 filterfan for 24V DC supply, rated 2W, in light gray, RAL 7035. It is the PF 11000 size, the smaller of the two frame sizes in this series, and ventilates electrical enclosures and control panels while maintaining a UL tested NEMA Type 12 seal against the enclosure. The same fan in the other colour is the PF11000T12BK24.

Series technical data gives an unimpeded airflow of 17 CFM and a free-flow capacity of 10 W/K. Paired with the matching PFA10000LG exhaust filter (PF 11000 + PFA 10000), airflow is 11 CFM and capacity 6 W/K. Maximum static pressure is 38 Pa, the Type 12 filter mat is grade G 3 (DIN EN 779) with 0.88 filtration efficiency, and the noise level is 33 dB (A) (EN ISO 3741).

The housing and guard are sprayed thermoplastic, self-extinguishing to UL 94 V0, made from heat resistant ABS-FR. As a 24V DC model it uses ball bearings and can be fitted in any position; the technical data gives 109 x 109 x 49 mm outside dimensions (height x width x installation depth), a weight of 0.16 kg and a connection of 2 wires, 310 mm long. The fan motor is CSA approved, and the fan is UL Recognized to UL 508, category NITW2/8, UL File #E175229.

The patented Click & Fit design gives a hardware free installation into a 92 mm (3.62 in) cutout (93 mm (3.66 in) for EMC versions). Protection is NEMA Type 12, IP 55 (EN 60 529) when installed as specified: vertical mounting with an intact foam gasket. Keep arcing parts at least 30.5 cm (12") from the filters (UL508A sec. 22); airflow is reversed by removing four screws and flipping the fan.
