The PCJ864NLF is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box from the PCJ Series with a solid polycarbonate cover held by a non-metallic lockable snap latch located on center, supplied with (2) polycarbonate flanges (glued) for flange mounting. Nominally 8x6x4 in, it gives integrators, electricians and OEM panel builders a compact 8 x 6 in face at 4 in nominal depth, sized for small terminal or control assemblies. It is built for indoor and outdoor service.
Both the box and the matching standard cover are injection-moulded polycarbonate with the series' light gray finish, and the material is easily punched, cut or drilled. Construction includes a molded hinge with stainless steel hinge pin, a captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene on the drawing) for a positive seal, 316 stainless steel screw fasteners and threaded brass inserts for an optional inner panel or terminal kit; and the snap latch includes a provision for padlocking.
Enclosure dimensions are 7.94 in (202 mm) high, 6.16 in (156 mm) wide and 3.98 in (101 mm) deep. The matching optional inner panel is part number PCJR0705, measuring 6.75 in (171 mm) x 4.88 in (124 mm); per the series, inner panels are offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass. The drawing shows 8X R.170 [4.32 mm] slot radius mounting slots, slot distances from 8.75 in minimum to 8.88 in maximum, 9.63 in overall across the flanges. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
