Hammond PCJ664CCH 6x6x4 in Clear Cover Polycarbonate Box, Feet

The PCJ664CCH is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a clear hinged screw cover and polycarbonate feet, nominal 6 in x 6 in x 4 in (152 mm x 152 mm x 102 mm). The enclosure measures 5.93 in H x 6.16 in W x 3.98 in D (151 x 156 x 101 mm). The clear cover lets technicians check components at a glance, and the box is intended for controls in indoor and outdoor settings such as industrial pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

Box and clear cover are injected polycarbonate that is easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel hinge pin and closes with two stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts. The drawing shows a closed cell neoprene gasket, and the series specifies a captive oil resistant gasket for a positive seal. Four polycarbonate feet fasten with stainless steel screws into #10-32 brass inserts; wall thickness is .14 in (3.68 mm).

An optional PCJR0505 inner panel, 4.81 in x 4.81 in (122 x 122 mm), mounts on four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel truss screws; the drawing shows it in 0.100 in aluminum or 0.075 in white steel. Enhanced UV inhibitors and a UV (f1) rating per UL746C suit outdoor use, with operating temperatures of 130°C to -35°C (266°F to -31°F) and an impact index of 16 J (12 ft/lb).

The PCJ Series is listed to UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is V-0 per UL 94. The PCJ664CCH ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg), is RoHS and REACH compliant, and carries UPC 623980982021.
