Hammond PCJ201610CCNL 20x16x10 Clear Latch-Cover Polycarbonate Box, Feet

The PCJ201610CCNL is a PCJ Series Type 4X polycarbonate junction box with a clear polycarbonate non-metallic latch cover and four polycarbonate feet for mounting. This is the 20 x 16 x 10 in size of the latch-cover range; its drawing shows a thicker .24 in (6.09 mm) wall and a 316 stainless steel hinge pin, and it takes the P2068 inner panel at 18.88 x 14.88 in. It protects controls and components indoors and outdoors, in applications such as pump controls, waste water, irrigation, solar/wind and chemical plants.

Box and cover are injection moulded polycarbonate thermoplastic with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering, and the body is easily punched, cut, or drilled. The cover closes with two non-metallic lockable snap latches that include a provision for padlocking, and swings on a molded hinge with a 316 stainless steel hinge pin. A captive oil resistant gasket (FIP polyurethane gasket per the drawing) provides a positive seal. Screw fasteners are stainless steel 316.

Measured enclosure dimensions are 19.76 in (502 mm) high by 15.98 in (406 mm) wide by 10.13 in (257 mm) deep, with a .24 in (6.09 mm) wall. Threaded brass inserts accept the optional P2068 inner panel (18.88 in (480 mm) x 14.88 in (378 mm)) or a terminal kit; the drawing shows back panel options in aluminum, white steel or PVC. Shipping weight is 20 lbs (9.07 kg).

This part is the feet-mount version, with (4X) polycarbonate feet; the drawing calls for (4X) each #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel flange screws. Mounting hardware is included. It is UL 508A and cUL listed to Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, is rated IP66 to IEC 60529, carries a V-0 flammability rating per UL 94 and a UV rating of (f1) per UL746C. The box operates from -35 °C to 130 °C (-31 °F to 266 °F), has an impact index of 16 J (12 ft/lb), and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
