Hammond PCJ1086CCNL 10x8x6 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Junction Box, Feet

The PCJ1086CCNL is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box from the PCJ Series with a clear polycarbonate cover held by a non-metallic lockable snap latch located on center, supplied with (4) polycarbonate mounting feet for foot mounting. Nominally 10x8x6 in, it gives integrators, electricians and OEM panel builders the same 10 x 8 in face as the 4 in deep model but with a 6 in nominal depth for taller components. It is built for indoor and outdoor service.

The clear polycarbonate cover lets operators see indicators and components without opening the enclosure, while the injection-moulded polycarbonate body carries the series' light gray finish. Construction includes a molded hinge with 316 stainless steel hinge pin, a captive oil resistant gasket (fip polyurethane on the drawing) for a positive seal, 316 stainless steel screw fasteners and threaded brass inserts for an optional inner panel or terminal kit; and the snap latch includes a provision for padlocking.

Enclosure dimensions are 9.93 in (252 mm) high, 8.15 in (207 mm) wide and 5.98 in (152 mm) deep. The matching optional inner panel is part number PCJR0907, measuring 8.75 in (222 mm) x 6.88 in (175 mm); per the series, inner panels are offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass. The drawing shows 4X .32 in (8.17 mm) mounting holes, a 10.50 x 6.91 in hole pattern, 10.75 in overall across the feet. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
