Hammond PCJ1084CCNLF 10x8x4 Clear Cover Polycarbonate Junction Box, Flange

The PCJ1084CCNLF is a Type 4X polycarbonate junction box from the PCJ Series with a clear polycarbonate cover held by a non-metallic lockable snap latch located on center, supplied with (4) polycarbonate flanges (glued) for flange mounting. Nominally 10x8x4 in, it gives integrators, electricians and OEM panel builders a 10 x 8 in footprint at a shallow 4 in nominal depth. It is built for indoor and outdoor service.

The clear polycarbonate cover lets operators see indicators and components without opening the enclosure, while the injection-moulded polycarbonate body carries the series' light gray finish. Construction includes a molded hinge with stainless steel hinge pin, a captive oil resistant gasket (closed cell neoprene on the drawing) for a positive seal, 316 stainless steel screw fasteners and threaded brass inserts for an optional inner panel or terminal kit; and the snap latch includes a provision for padlocking.

Enclosure dimensions are 9.93 in (252 mm) high, 8.15 in (207 mm) wide and 3.98 in (101 mm) deep. The matching optional inner panel is part number PCJR0907, measuring 8.75 in (222 mm) x 6.88 in (175 mm); per the series, inner panels are offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass. The drawing shows (4) .34 in (8.65 mm) mounting holes, a 10.50 x 6.00 in hole pattern, 10.75 in overall across the flanges. Shipping weight is 5 lbs (2.27 kg).
