Hammond PBPA19012BK 7U Aluminum Rack Blanking Panel, Matte Black

The PBPA19012BK is a 7U aluminum blanking panel finished in RAL9005 matte black, designed to close off unused rack space in standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. It is intended for data center, server room, telecom and network installations where IT and AV integrators, electricians and facilities teams need to separate hot and cold air and tidy the front of a rack.

The panel is formed from 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, which provides lightweight durability and corrosion resistance in rack environments. Because aluminum is lighter than steel, a 7U panel like this one is easier to handle and hold in place during installation, with a shipping weight of 2.89 lbs (1.31 kg). The smooth matte black powder coat gives a clean, professional rack appearance.

Panel height is 12.25 in (311 mm) for 7U of coverage, with an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm). Mounting is through 8 slots measuring 0.250 x 0.375 in, giving eight mounting points across the panel for secure attachment to the rack rails. Mounting hardware is not included, so specify rack screws or cage nut hardware to match your rails.
