Hammond PBPA19005UNF 3U Unfinished Aluminum Flat Rack Blanking Panel

PBPA19005UNF is a 3U flat blanking panel for standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails, supplied unfinished so it can be painted, anodized or silkscreened to suit custom OEM and integration work. It is intended for IT and AV integrators, telecom technicians and facilities teams who need to close off unused rack space and stop hot and cold air from recirculating through open openings.

The panel is formed from 8-gauge (0.125 in) 5052-H32 aluminum, giving lightweight durability and corrosion resistance in rack environments. The unfinished aluminum surface is smooth for a clean rack appearance and, compared with steel panels, the lower mass makes handling and single-person installation easier. Shipping weight is 1.2 lbs (0.54 kg).

This 3U size covers 5.25 in (133 mm) of rack height. The drawing gives an overall width of 19.00 in (483 mm) across the mounting flanges, a panel face width of 18.32 in (465 mm), a panel height of 5.22 in (133 mm), with 1.48 in (38 mm) and 2.25 in (57 mm) form dimensions and 4X 0.250 x 0.375 in mounting slots with 4X R .12 in (3 mm) corner radii. There are 4 mounting points; mounting hardware is not included.
