The NWC12U2436SABK is a 12U sealed, wall-mounted equipment cabinet built for industrial and IT environments where dust, dirt and water exposure would damage unprotected gear. It is the solid-door, RAL9005 Black, air-conditioned ("A") version of the NWC Series, shipped with a factory-supplied 900-1300 BTU DTS3021A115LG air conditioner with cord packed inside the cabinet for installation on site.
Construction is 14-gauge welded mild steel with gasketed doors, UL2416 Type 12 rated to a 350 lb (158 kg) load and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The enclosure has been independently tested to IEC 60529 IP56 for protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets. The black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
Overall dimensions are 31.77 in (807 mm) high x 24.50 in (622 mm) wide x 36.22 in (920 mm) deep, with 12U of usable 22.00 in (559 mm) mounting height and 30.00 in (762 mm) of usable mounting depth. Rail-to-rail depth is 26.55 in (674 mm) and the 19 in mounting width measures 18.35 in (466 mm). Two pairs of adjustable, EIA-compliant tapped 10-32 rails are included along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws.
A double-hinged, 19 in rack-compatible design gives access from the front and by swinging the centre section out. External mounting feet and a rear pan support wall installation and cable entry, and dedicated bonding and grounding points are provided. NWC12U2436SABK is TAA-compliant and manufactured in Canada.
