The N1J14128 is the 8-inch-deep version of the 14 x 12 inch N1J enclosure, the deepest option at this face size. It gives room for taller components on its 12.25 x 10.25 inch inner panel in indoor Type 1 applications.
The body is formed and spot welded from 16 gauge steel, and the formed steel door swings fully open on butt hinges before closing with a slotted quarter-turn latch. The included inner panel is 14 gauge steel. The enclosure and cover carry an ANSI 61 gray powder coat and the inner panel is finished in white powder coating. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud on the box.
Nominal dimensions for the N1J14128 are 14 x 12 x 8 inches (356 mm x 305 mm x 203 mm), with a 12.25 x 10.25 inch inner panel. Per the part drawing, the door opening is 13.00 x 11.00 inches and the door itself measures 14.38 x 12.30 inches. The drawing shows an overall depth of 8.12 inches including the door. Through holes in the back allow direct wall mounting. Series accessories include additional inner panels, perforated inner panels and a Type 1 lock kit.
