Hammond N1A24167 24x16x7" NEMA 1 Wallmount Enclosure with Panel

The Hammond N1A24167 is a UL 50 and CSA Type 1 mild steel wallmount enclosure measuring 24 in high x 16 in wide x 7 in deep (610 mm x 406 mm x 178 mm). It is designed for indoor use to house controls, instruments and components that do not require oil-tight or dust-tight protection, making it a practical choice for panel builders, OEM engineers and electricians. At 7 in deep it is the shallowest of the three N1A depths (7, 9 and 12 in).

The enclosure is formed and spot welded from steel and finished in ANSI 61 gray powder coating. A removable inner panel, 21.00 in (533 mm) high by 14.50 in (368 mm) wide and finished in white powder coating, mounts in the rear of the enclosure on collar studs. The removable door is mounted on slip hinges and is fastened with a slotted quarter turn latch. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud in the box.

The upright 24 x 16 in face gives a door opening of 14.75 in wide by 22.75 in high per the drawing, and the door itself measures 16.38 in x 24.38 in (W x H). Clear space available on the door is 14.75 in wide, useful when planning door-mounted devices.

Mounting holes are provided in the rear of the enclosure, laid out on 11.00 in x 21.88 in centres per the drawing; the optional N1AMFK mounting foot kit (set of 4 feet) provides a wall mounting alternative. N1A24167 complies with NEMA Type 1 and IEC 60529 IP20 (UL File E71072, CSA Cert. LR21001) and ships in a box at 43 lbs (19.50 kg).
