The M3784-7001 is a pair of locking, folding tilt legs for desktop and tabletop enclosures. It lets instrument and equipment designers tilt a case upward for a better viewing angle, then fold the legs flat when not needed.
The legs are black polyester-reinforced polyamide with a spring-locked folding action and a soft rubber anti-skid insert. The part page lists the material as polyamid.
Each leg is 2.6" (67 mm) long in the closed position and 1.8" (46 mm) high in the open position. The drawing shows 68.50 mm [2.697 in] with the leg folded up, 48.35 mm [1.904 in] with the leg folded down and a 74° angle, along with a 30.50 mm [1.201 in] bottom-view dimension and mounting holes of ø4.20 mm [0.165 in] and ø3.00 mm [0.118 in].
