The HWST20168S16 is a 316 stainless steel wallmount enclosure in the Waterfall series, measuring 20 x 16 x 8 in (508 x 406 x 203 mm). It is designed for electrical and electronic equipment in harsh industrial environments, with a 25° sloped top that stops water from resting on the enclosure and can serve for controls mounting. The hinge design allows easy cleaning in hose-down environments.
It is formed stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. The door closes with 316 stainless steel quarter turn latches featuring a slot that requires a tool, and pivots on 316 stainless steel hinges that open 180 degrees, remove easily for modifications and are interchangeable. Door stiffeners are provided where required. The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth brushed.
The front height (H1) is 20.00 in and the back height (H2) is 23.70 in (602 mm). Per the drawing, the door opening is 13.44 x 17.47 in, the overall depth is 9.21 in, and 0.50 in mounting holes are spaced 14.50 x 18.50 in. A hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes comes included, and collar studs accept the optional 18P1713 inner panel (17.00 x 13.00 in).
The HWST20168S16 is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, NSF/ANSI 169, and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66 and IP69K. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, with a shipping weight of 35 lbs (15.88 kg).
