The HWM2420U20WH is a 20U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a vented front door and a white (RAL9003) textured powder coat finish. It is built for IT and telecom installations that need 19-inch rack equipment enclosed and secured on a wall, while still allowing full rear access for termination and servicing. It is the white counterpart to the black HWM2420U20BK.
Construction is mild steel, with a 14-gauge welded rear section, 16-gauge center section and doors. The HWM Series is UL2416 listed to a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10, under UL file E474597. The cabinet body swings out on concealed, heavy-duty spring hinges, and the body is reversible so swing direction can be changed on site.
Overall size is 41.81 in x 24.68 in x 25.67 in (1,062 mm x 627 mm x 652 mm), with a 20 in center section depth. Mounting (usable) dimensions are 35.00 in (889 mm) high — 20U — by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 22.85 in (580 mm) deep, which is the maximum equipment depth that still allows the body section to swing out unimpeded.
One pair of adjustable 10-32 tapped 19-inch rails is included, along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws. Multiple cable entry knockouts, a rear opening, ventilation and fan knockout provisions (optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans) support cable routing and airflow. HWM2420U20WH is TAA-compliant and made in Canada, and the finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
