Hammond HWM2412U26WDWH 12U Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, Window Door, White

The HWM2412U26WDWH is a 12U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a window front door, finished in RAL9003 white, intended for IT and telecom installations where 19-inch rack equipment needs a secure enclosure plus rear access. The window door suits deployments with active equipment that has to be monitored visually, while the swing-out body opens the full rear of the cabinet for cabling and servicing.

Construction is mild steel: a 14-gauge welded rear section with a 16-gauge center section and doors, carrying a UL2416 listing with a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating and a seismic rating of 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. A heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism controls the swing-out action, and the cabinet body is reversible so swing direction can be changed on site.

This version uses the 26 in center section, giving overall dimensions of 27.81 in H x 24.68 in W x 31.18 in D (706 x 627 x 792 mm) and 28.85 in (733 mm) of usable equipment depth — the maximum equipment depth that still allows the body section to swing out unimpeded. The 12U mounting area measures 21.00 in high x 19.00 in wide, and one pair of adjustable 10-32 tapped 19-inch panel rails ships with the cabinet along with a starter hardware pack of SCREW1032-50 screws.

Multiple double knockouts in the top, bottom and sides plus the rear opening support structured cable routing, and a fan knockout pattern accepts optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans. HWM2412U26WDWH is made in Canada, TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and covered by UL file E474597.
