Hammond HWM2412U20WDWH 12U Swing-Out Wall Cabinet, Window Door, White

The HWM2412U20WDWH is a 12U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet with a window front door, finished in RAL9003 white textured powder coat. It is built for IT and telecom installations that need 19-inch rack mounting inside a secure, enclosed housing while still allowing full rear access for cabling and servicing — network closets, data communication rooms, and government, education and commercial IT spaces.

Construction follows the HWM Series format: a 14-gauge welded rear section with a 16-gauge center section and door, in mild steel. The cabinet is UL2416 listed with a 350 lb (159 kg) load rating (UL file E474597) and is seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. The window door suits deployments where equipment status needs to be visible, and concealed hinges plus a heavy-duty spring-hinge mechanism give controlled swing-out access. The cabinet body is reversible, so swing direction can be changed on site.

This 12U version has overall dimensions of 27.81 in H x 24.68 in W x 25.17 in D (706 x 627 x 639 mm) with a 20 in center section depth. Usable mounting space is 21.00 in H x 19.00 in W x 22.85 in D (533 x 483 x 580 mm) — the 22.85 in figure is the maximum equipment depth that still lets the body section swing out unimpeded.

HWM2412U20WDWH ships with one pair of 19-inch 10-32 tapped, adjustable panel rails and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws. Multiple cable entry knockouts top, bottom and both sides support structured cable routing, a fan knockout pattern accepts optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans, and power bar mounting points let a PDU be fitted without consuming U space. The cabinet is TAA-compliant and manufactured in Canada.
