Hammond HWFSD3042UWH 42U Solid Locking Door for 30in Wall Cabinet

HWFSD3042UWH is the white solid front door option for 42U, 30 in wide HWF Series wall and floor mount rack cabinets. It is ordered separately from the cabinet (the HWF cabinet ships without a door) and is intended for IT and telecom installations where the equipment inside needs to be closed off and locked rather than left open.

The door is fabricated from mild steel with a white textured powder coat finish. Nominal size is 73 in x 30 in x 1 in (1,854 mm x 762 mm x 25 mm); the drawing shows an overall front-view height of 80.32 in (2040 mm) and a top-view width of 29.69 in (754 mm). As a solid panel it provides a fully closed front, in contrast to the vented (HWFVD3042UxX) and window (HWFWD3042UxX) doors offered for the same 42U cabinet height.

HWFSD3042UWH arrives complete with the hardware needed to hang and secure it: a swing handle key lock (FH333), an offset .560 cam, three left-hand surface door hinges with three hinge cover plates, three stick-on rubber bumper feet and six #10-24 x 3/8 in thread-cutting screws. Hinge components and latch hardware ship loose for field assembly.

Within the HWF Series, optional locking doors provide security and airflow choices depending on the application, and the series notes that PCI DSS requirements are met with a door installed. The part is manufactured in Canada, is TAA-compliant and USMCA compliant, carries cULus recognition under UL file E475597, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
