Hammond HWFSD3042UBK 42U Solid Locking Door for 30" Rack Cabinet

HWFSD3042UBK is a solid steel front door sized for 42U, 30"-wide HWF Series wall and floor mount rack cabinets. It is the door option for IT and telecom installers who need a fully closed, lockable enclosure front rather than a vented or window panel, and it ships as a factory accessory because HWF cabinets are supplied without a door.

The door is built from mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish. It measures 80.3 in x 30 in x 1 in (2,040 mm x 762 mm x 25 mm) overall, with a 29.69 in (754 mm) top-view width shown on the drawing, and has a shipping weight of 56 lbs (25.40 kg). Supplied hardware includes a swing handle key lock (FH333), an offset cam, three left-hand surface door hinges with hinge cover plates, three stick-on rubber bumper feet and six #10-24 x 3/8 thread-cutting screws. Hinge components and latch hardware ship loose for field assembly.

Matched to the 42U HWF cabinet, the solid door completes an enclosure whose swing-out section still allows full front and rear access for servicing. Within the HWF Series, adding a door supports applications that must meet PCI DSS requirements, and the solid panel provides security in data rooms, IDF closets and edge computing spaces. Vented (HWFVD3042UBK) and window (HWFWD3042UBK) alternatives, plus a white version (HWFSD3042UWH), cover the same 42U cabinet height if airflow or visibility is preferred.
