Hammond HWF3036U36BK 36U Swing-Out Wall and Floor Rack Cabinet, Black

The HWF3036U36BK is a 36U swing-out wall and floor mount rack cabinet, 30 in wide and 35 in deep, built for IT and telecom teams that need to mount 19-inch rack equipment in a wall-adjacent footprint. It is part of the HWF Series hybrid design: the cabinet fastens to the wall while sitting on the floor on levelling feet, reducing wall loading while keeping heavy equipment stacks stable.

Construction is mild steel with a 14-gauge welded rear section and base and a 16-gauge swing-out section. The swing-out centre section runs on caster support with concealed hinges, a safety pin lock-out and two remote latches, so the front and rear of installed equipment can be reached for servicing without pulling gear out. The cabinet is finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat; the HWF Series powder coat is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Overall dimensions are 75.82 in x 30 in x 35 in (1,926 mm x 762 mm x 889 mm), with 63.00 in (1600 mm) of usable mounting height at 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 33.50 in (851 mm) usable depth. The rack listing is 36U + 4U, with a 3U top section for accessories such as fans, cable management or power distribution. One pair of adjustable tapped 10-32 mounting rails is included and can be field-replaced with square hole rails, sold separately.

Cable and power routing is handled by multiple conduit knockouts, cable lances, large rear openings and power bar mounting locations, plus dedicated bonding and grounding points. HWF3036U36BK is UL2416 listed with a 700 lb (317 kg) load rating (UL file E475597) and seismic rated to 400 lb (181.44 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5). Doors are ordered separately.
