Hammond HWCF Wall Mount Cabinet Gasket & Filter Kit, IP5X

The HWCF is a wall rack cabinet sealing and filter kit that upgrades compatible Hammond wall mount cabinets with enhanced dust protection for industrial, warehouse and manufacturing environments. It is intended for IT and controls teams, integrators and OEM engineers who need to keep switches, routers, industrial PCs, edge computing gear and control hardware working reliably in dusty indoor spaces.

The kit works by blocking unused cabinet openings while retaining filtered ventilation, helping compatible cabinets achieve IP5X dust protection without starving equipment of airflow. It is designed for Hammond HWC and HLP wall mount cabinets and is not compatible with vented front door options.

Everything needed for installation ships in the box: 25 ft of cut-to-length foam gasket to seal cabinet openings, four XPFA120BK filter fan grilles for filtered airflow, eight DNFPBK1 fan cover plates, two 6" x 15.5" MPC616 magnet sheets for blanking, four 0.5" plastic hole plugs, plus 32 8-32 x 0.5" zinc-plated screws and 32 8-32 UNC zinc-plated keps nuts. Because the fasteners and plugs are included, there is no need to source individual components separately.

When active cooling is required, the HWCF can be paired with AVFK or DNFK fan kits to provide filtered forced ventilation while maintaining dust resistance. Typical deployments include production floors, distribution centres, industrial automation and control rooms, and indoor utility or communications rooms with airborne dust.

The HWCF kit ships at 7 lbs (3.18 kg), is made in Canada, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant with TAA-compliant standards listed by the manufacturer.
