Hammond HWC3012U35BK 12U 30W x 35D Swing-Out Wall Mount Cabinet

HWC3012U35BK is a 12U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet from the HWC Series, built for IT, AV and telecom teams that need to hang 19-inch rack equipment on a wall and still reach the back of it. The 30-inch-wide, 35-inch-deep body measures 27.81 in x 30.68 in x 34.78 in (706 mm x 779 mm x 883 mm) overall and provides 12U of rack space with 21.00 in (533 mm) of usable mounting height.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel finished in RAL9005 black powder coat (painted black sand textured), a finish the series lists as GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The HWC Series is UL2416 rated to 350 lb (158 kg) and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) in accordance with IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10, so this cabinet suits inspected and regulated installations. The centre section swings out on concealed hinges with a safety pin lock-out for full rear access; usable equipment mounting depth is 32.50 in (826 mm), which is the maximum equipment depth that still allows the centre section to swing out unimpeded. One pair of adjustable tapped 10-32 mounting rails is supplied (19 in mounting width, 18.31 in / 465 mm), along with a starter hardware pack containing SCREW1032-50 screws.

The 30 in wide rails include 1U cutouts for optional 19-inch accessories such as cable management and power distribution, and a power bar can be mounted without consuming U space. Multiple knockouts top, bottom and both sides plus fan knockout patterns (optional fans DNMF100AC115 / DNMF100AC230) handle cable entry and airflow. HWC3012U35BK ships without a door; solid, vented, window and positive-pressure filter fan doors are available separately.
