The HW603616S16HK is the largest combination of height and depth in this hinged-door stainless series: 60 x 36 x 16 in (1,524 x 914 x 406 mm) in 316 stainless steel. It is made for large, deep electrical and electronic assemblies that must be protected on a wall in harsh industrial environments, washdown areas and wet, corrosive locations.
The enclosure is formed stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. The door hangs on a stainless steel continuous hinge, removable by pulling the hinge pin, and is secured by a 316 stainless pad lockable handle and 3 point roller latching system. The cover and body have a natural stainless, smooth brushed finish.
The drawing shows a 33.25 x 57.25 in door opening, 62.25 in overall height, 17.23 in overall depth and 0.44 in mounting holes on a 30.00 x 61.25 in pattern. Collar studs accept the optional 18P5733 inner panel (57.00 x 33.00 in), and bonding and grounding studs are provided on the door and body.
The HW603616S16HK is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. Shipping weight is 229 lbs (103.87 kg). Applications include processing plants, utilities, outdoor municipal and petrochemical sites.
