Hammond HW362410S16HK 36x24x10 In 316 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The HW362410S16HK is a Type 4X stainless steel wallmount enclosure measuring 36 x 24 x 10 in (914 mm x 610 mm x 254 mm) H x W x D, with a hinged door and handle. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, including locations where equipment is hosed down or exposed to wet conditions where corrosion is a serious problem.

This is the 316 stainless steel version, formed from 14 gauge 316 stainless steel; the equivalent 304 stainless steel model is HW362410SSHK. Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and a formed lip on the enclosure helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The door closes on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and is secured by a 316 stainless pad lockable handle with a 3 point roller latching system. The stainless steel continuous hinge can be removed by pulling the stainless steel hinge pin. The cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

According to the part drawing, the door opening is 21.21 in wide x 33.21 in high, the door itself measures 22.19 in x 34.21 in, and the overall height is 38.25 in with an overall depth of 11.21 in. Collar studs are provided for mounting an inner panel; the optional inner panel for this size is 18P3321, measuring 33.00 in H x 21.00 in W.
