HVPCI-150 is a VpCI corrosion inhibitor supplied as self adhesive foam tape, packaged as a carton of 6 rolls, each 12 ft long. It suits facilities teams, electricians and OEM builders want to protect electrical and electronic components inside non-ventilated enclosures.
The tape is VpCI impregnated foam measuring 0.75" wide by 0.25" thick. As an HVPCI emitter it releases a vapor into the interior of the enclosure; the vapor deposits on metal surfaces and forms a protective molecular layer, providing multi-metal protection and helping reduce corrosion in the enclosure.
Coverage is rated by length: each linear inch of HVPCI-150 tape provides protection for 0.4 cubic foot of enclosed space. The tape is affixed via its self adhesive backing. Its short description is CORR INHIB TAPE 12FT ROLL PKG6. For more coverage per inch, the series also offers the 2.0" wide HVPCI-170 tape, rated at 1 cubic foot per linear inch.
