Hammond HTH124820 12" Top Hat Cable Module for 48W x 20D Enclosures

Designed for a 48 in wide, 20 in deep freestanding enclosure, the HTH124820 top hat cable module mounts on the cabinet roof to create 12 in of extra height for cable management and slack storage. It is a practical add-on for OEM panel builders and system integrators who bring many cables into a cabinet from above.

The module is sturdy 12 gauge construction, painted ANSI 61 gray, and built to Type 4, 12 and 3R protection levels. Front panels remove easily, and the part drawing shows removable gland plates with gaskets.

In the ordering table the module measures A 12.00 in (305 mm) high, B 48.06 in (1221 mm) wide and C 20.06 in (510 mm) deep, against a nominal size of 12 in x 48 in x 20 in (305 mm x 1,219 mm x 508 mm). Cover plate openings are 8.50 in (216 mm) x 20.53 in (521 mm) and the cutout opening is 16.06 in (408 mm) x 39.06 in (992 mm). The drawing shows 22.03 in wide gland plates with 20.53 in x 8.51 in of clear space available on each.

Pre-drilled for simple assembly onto the top of the enclosure, with fourteen Ø0.69 in holes shown on the drawing, the HTH124820 ships boxed at 95 lbs (43.09 kg). It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
