The HSP206 is a pair of side panels for Hammond's HME modular freestanding enclosure, made to fit a cabinet 2000 mm high by 600 mm deep (78.74 x 23.62 in). Panel shops, OEM machine builders and electrical contractors use it to close in the sides of a 600 mm-deep HME frame, whether building a standalone cabinet or finishing the end of a line-up.
Each panel is a welded steel assembly finished in textured RAL 7035 light gray. On the drawing each panel measures 1953 mm (76.87 in) high by 556 mm (21.89 in) wide with a 21 mm (0.82 in) return. The panels are sold in quantities of two, and the pair has a shipping weight of 112 lbs (50.80 kg), packed in a box.
Installation uses screws that fasten into the enclosure frame through 9 mm (0.34 in) thru holes, with optional tamper resistant screws available. Bond studs (CD stud 1/4-20 x 3/4) are provided for grounding, so the panels can be tied into the enclosure's ground path.
