Hammond HPB 30.5mm Pushbutton Steel Hole Plug, ANSI 61 Gray

The Hammond HPB is an ANSI 61 gray steel hole plug sized for a standard pushbutton opening. The HP Series gives the standard pushbutton size as 30.5mm, and the ordering table lists this plug for holes up to 1.25 in (32 mm) in diameter. It is aimed at panel builders, OEM engineers and maintenance electricians who need to close off a pushbutton hole left empty after a control-panel change.

Made of steel and finished in ANSI 61 gray, the HPB is one of two colour options for this size; the same size in RAL7035 light gray is part number HPBLG. An oil resistant gasket seals the plug face, and a 10-24 x 0.55" threaded stud with a plated wing nut clamps it in place.

The plug diameter is 1.75 in (44 mm), and the part drawing shows a 1.76 in overall diameter along with 0.23 in and 0.79 in dimensions in its side and bottom views. Shipping weight is 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg), and it is listed in the Steel table of the HP Series ordering chart.
