The Hammond HP100SS is a 304 stainless steel hole plug for unused 1 in conduit openings and knockout holes, sized for a maximum hole diameter of 1.38 in (35 mm) with a 1.88 in (48 mm) plug diameter. It is designed to seal unused openings against dust, oil and water, making it a practical fix for panel builders, electricians and maintenance crews when an enclosure is modified, a device is removed or a knockout is left open.
The plug is finished in brushed natural 304 stainless steel and uses an oil resistant gasket. It is secured with a 10-24 x 0.55" threaded stud and plated wing nut. The HP Series stainless steel plugs are UR & cUR recognized components for Type 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 enclosures.
HP100SS is listed for 1" Conduit openings in the HP Series table. The part drawing shows an overall plug diameter of 1.89 in, with further drawing dimensions of 0.23 in and 0.79 in. Shipping weight is 0.1 lbs (0.05 kg).
