Hammond HN4WM364812SS 36x48x12 in 304 Stainless Two-Door Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4WM364812SS is a Type 4X two door wallmount enclosure made from formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel, measuring 36 in x 48 in x 12 in (914 mm x 1,219 mm x 305 mm). It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Its 48 in width is split across two doors, with a 45 in (1143 mm) wide inner panel for mounting equipment. The doors are supported with heavy gauge continuous hinges and secured by a 3-pt padlocking door handle, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the opening. Seams are smooth and continuously welded, with no knockouts, cutouts or holes.

A removable white powder coated inner panel (33 in (838 mm) H x 45 in (1143 mm) W) is included. The center post between the doors is removable for easy installation of the inner panel, and the drawing shows a door opening of 45.25 in wide by 33.25 in high. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. The cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

The enclosure is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (CSA LR21001), and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66.
