Hammond HN4FS907224DA 90x72x24 Dual Access Type 4 Freestanding Enclosure

The HN4FS907224DA is the only 90 in tall dual-access size in the series table: 90 in tall, 72 in wide and 24 in deep, with doors front and back for two-sided access to tall equipment lineups. Hammond Manufacturing designs this Type 4 two-door freestanding enclosure to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments, and to protect equipment where it may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet. It suits panel builders, OEM engineers and plant electrical teams specifying floor-standing control enclosures.

The HN4FS907224DA measures 90 in x 72 in x 24 in (2,286 mm x 1,829 mm x 610 mm). The part drawing shows two 34.00 in doors, each 80.53 in tall, a door opening height of 79.31 in, and two 32.55 in openings in the bottom view. The center post is removable for easy installation of the inner panel; the matching optional full panel is 90BYFW.

Construction is formed 12 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts come with reinforcing support angles, the doors hang on heavy gauge continuous hinges and close with a 3-pt padlocking handle against a seamless poured-in place gasket. A grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. The cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

The series is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4 and 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships on a skid at 780 lbs (353.80 kg).
