Hammond HN4FS724818SS 72x48x18 Two Door 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS724818SS is a 72 x 48 x 18 in two door freestanding enclosure from the HN4 FSTD SS series, built for controls and instruments that need Type 4X protection against hose-down, heavy wetting or corrosion. Its formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel body suits electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.

Nominal dimensions are 72 x 48 x 18 in (1,829 x 1,219 x 457 mm), with overall drawing dimensions of 72.06 x 48.06 x 18.06 in. It uses two 22.00 in wide doors, 62.53 in tall, over two 20.55 in wide door openings; the drawing shows 17.42 in x 60.62 in of clear space available on each door.

Continuous heavy gauge hinges carry the doors, which are closed by a 3-pt padlocking door handle against a seamless poured-in place gasket. Seams are smooth and continuously welded with no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The enclosure includes heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles, a grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door. Because the center post is removable, the optional 72ZWFW full height/full width panel can be installed easily; depth panels and half height width panels are also offered.

The enclosure is listed UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (LR21001), and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, has a natural smooth brushed stainless finish, and ships on a skid at 460 lbs.
