Hammond HN4FS723724 72x37x24 Type 4 Freestanding Steel Enclosure

The HN4FS723724 is a Type 4 mild steel freestanding enclosure from the HN4 FS Series, measuring 72.06 in high x 37.06 in wide x 24.06 in deep (1830 x 941 x 611 mm). It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel mounting or rack mounting of equipment, and provides protection where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or where corrosion is a critical problem.

The body is formed 12 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A single door on heavy gauge continuous hinges closes with a 3-pt padlocking door handle against a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Lifting eyes provide for easy handling, a grounding stud is provided in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door, and there is provision for light kit mounting. The cover and enclosure are finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

Mounting channels are welded inside the enclosure for optional inner panels or rack equipment rails. The matching optional full height/full width inner panel for the HN4FS723724 is 72YFW, available in white powder coating or unpainted galvanized steel; swing-out frames and panel rails are listed as accessories. The drawing shows a 33.31 x 61.31 in door opening (W x H), a 34.38 x 62.53 in door and 25.25 in overall depth including the handle.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships on a skid at 406 lbs (184.16 kg).
