Hammond HN4FS604818SS 60x48x18 Two Door 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The HN4FS604818SS is the shortest size in the HN4 FSTD SS two door freestanding family: a 60 x 48 x 18 in Type 4X enclosure formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

Nominal size is 60 x 48 x 18 in (1,524 x 1,219 x 457 mm); the part drawing gives overall dimensions of 60.06 x 48.06 x 18.06 in. Two 22.00 in wide doors, each 50.53 in tall, open onto two 20.55 in wide openings with a 49.31 in opening height, and each door offers 17.42 in x 48.60 in of clear space for operators and indicators.

The doors ride on heavy gauge continuous hinges and are secured by a 3-pt padlocking door handle, sealing on a seamless poured-in place gasket. Seams are smooth and continuously welded, without knockouts, cutouts or holes. Heavy duty stainless lifting eyebolts come with reinforcing support angles, a grounding stud is fitted in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door, and the center post is removable for easy installation of the inner panel. The optional full height/full width panel is 60AWFW.

Ratings are UL 508A Type 3R, 4X and 12 (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R, 4X and 12 (Cert. LR21001), with compliance to NEMA Type 3R, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant, has a natural stainless smooth brushed finish and ships on a skid at 370 lbs.
