Hammond HN4FM726018 72x60x18 Type 4 Two-Door Floormount Enclosure

The HN4FM726018 is a Type 4 mild steel two-door floormount enclosure from the HN4 FM Series, with continuous hinge doors and a 3-point padlocking handle. It is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments, and provides protection where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or in outdoor applications for full weather protection. The series table lists the enclosure at 72.13 in high x 60.06 in wide x 18.69 in deep (1832 x 1526 x 475 mm); the part page gives a nominal 72 x 60 x 18 in size.

At this 72 in height the enclosure is formed from combination 10/12 gauge steel (72 in high enclosures), with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The doors are supported with heavy gauge continuous hinges and seal on a seamless poured-in-place gasket, while a formed lip on the door and top of the enclosure opening excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. 12 in floor stands are welded to the enclosure and lifting eyes provide for easy handling.

A removable 10 gauge inner panel measuring 68.00 x 56.00 in (1727 x 1422 mm), finished in white powder coating, is included. The center post is removable for easy panel installation, panel supports and collar studs are provided, and a literature pocket sits inside the door. The drawing shows a 57.31 x 69.38 in door opening (W x H), 17.90 in of usable depth, two 28.00 in wide doors, and an overall height of 84.13 in including the floor stands.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4 and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001). The enclosure is finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating, is RoHS and REACH compliant, and ships on a skid at 714 lbs (323.86 kg).
