The HMEP228 is an inner swing panel for use with a 2200 mm high by 800 mm wide cabinet (86.61 in x 31.50 in). It gives control panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers a hinged sheet-steel surface for mounting components inside an HME modular freestanding enclosure, so equipment can be swung out for access. Of the two widths offered at the 2200 mm cabinet height, this is the 800 mm wide cabinet version.
The panel is formed from 12 gauge galvanized steel and is supplied unpainted. Its overall size is 2096 mm high by 699 mm wide (82.52 in x 27.52 in). The part drawing shows four 13 mm (0.5 in) diameter thru holes and four 7 mm (0.27 in) diameter thru holes.
A swing kit is required to mount the panel and is sold separately; the HMESWP series lists Swing Kits as its accessory. Choose the swing kit that suits the cabinet frame when planning the installation.
