Hammond HME2265 2200x600x500mm Type 12 Single-Door Modular Enclosure

The HME2265 is a single-door, Type 12 mild steel modular freestanding enclosure from the HME Series, built as a rugged housing for industrial control and operator interface equipment. At 2200 mm, this is one of the tallest HME heights, here on a 600 mm wide, 500 mm deep footprint with a 2096 mm x 499 mm inner panel.

Construction is formed 14 gauge steel with a fully welded frame carrying a 25mm hole pattern for component and accessory mounting. The enclosure is phosphatized and finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating, while the inner mounting panel is unpainted galvanized 12 gauge steel. A foam gasket on all openings provides a dust-tight seal, and bonding and grounding studs are provided for all doors and panels.

The supplied inner panel measures 82.52 in (2096 mm) high by 19.65 in (499 mm) wide. Per the drawing, the front opening is 516 mm (20.33 in) wide by 2106 mm (82.93 in) high with the door removed, the side opening is 325 mm (12.81 in) deep by 2101 mm (82.72 in) high, and the bottom gland plate cut-out measures 312 mm (12.27 in) by 206 mm (8.13 in). The drawing shows an overall height of 2296 mm (90.38 in). Shipping weight is 260 lbs (117.93 kg), and it ships on a skid.

Each unit ships configured with the frame, a removable solid top panel, four lifting eyebolts, a removable bottom panel with gland plates, a solid front door with door frame, a removable rear cover panel and the inner mounting panel. The door opens 135° and can be interchanged, removed or reversed. Frames join with an optional joining kit, and 14 gauge steel side panels are sold separately in pairs.

The series is listed to UL 508A Type 12 and CSA Type 12 and complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54; this part is also REACH and RoHS compliant.
