Hammond HME1485 1400x800x500mm Type 12 Modular Single-Door Enclosure

The HME1485 is a Type 12 mild steel modular freestanding enclosure with a single hinged door, measuring 1400 x 800 x 500 mm (55.12 x 31.50 x 19.69 in, H x W x D). It gives integrators, panel shops and facilities teams a rugged housing for industrial control and operator interface equipment in industrial environments. At 1400 mm tall it is one of the lower HME heights, handy where overhead clearance is limited.

This size pairs a 800 mm width with a 500 mm depth; the 800 mm wide frame carries a 699 mm (27.52 in) wide inner panel, and the inner mounting panel measures 1296 x 699 mm (51.02 x 27.52 in). The frame is formed 14 gauge steel, fully welded, with a 25mm hole pattern that provides extensive component and accessory mounting flexibility. The inner panel is unpainted galvanized 12 gauge steel.

Each unit arrives with the frame, removable solid top panel, four lifting eyebolts, removable bottom panel with gland plates (512 x 206 mm gland plate cutout per the drawing), solid front door with door frame, removable rear cover panel and inner mounting panel. A foam gasket on all openings provides a dust-tight seal, the door opens 135° and can be interchanged, removed or reversed, and bonding and grounding studs are provided for all doors and panels.

The HME1485 is finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating over phosphatized steel. It is UL 508A Type 12 and CSA Type 12 and complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54. Frames join together with an optional joining kit for large scale and mixed use lineups, and optional 14 gauge side panels are sold separately in pairs.
