Hammond HLP8U31LG 8U 31"H Low-Profile Wall Cabinet, 200 lb

The HLP8U31LG is an 8U, 31-inch-high low-profile wall-mount cabinet from the HLP Series, built for IT and AV integrators, telecom technicians and facilities teams mounting 19-inch equipment in network closets and communication rooms. It is a UL Listed 2416 wall-mount rack (19" EIA-310 compliant) load rated to 200 lb (90 kg) for installed equipment, under UL file number E474597.

Construction is mild steel, finished in RAL7035 Light Gray (textured), with mounting rails painted white per the part drawing. The HLP Series black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold and TSCA compliant, and the racks are manufactured in North America, TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant.

Overall dimensions are 31.00 in (787 mm) high x 27.50 in (699 mm) wide x 19.65 in (499 mm) deep, with a nominal listed size of 31 in x 30 in x 20 in (787 mm x 762 mm x 508 mm) and a shipping weight of 88 lbs (39.92 kg). Rail capacity is 2U pivot plus 8U fixed, with maximum vertical usable depth of 21.90 in (556 mm) with both rails installed or 26.90 in (683 mm) with the fixed rail only. Rails are tapped 10-32.

Internal adjustable mounting rails offer 180 degrees of flexibility for precise equipment positioning, and the adjustable secondary rail can be set in five configurations: vertical up or down, 30 degrees up or down, and 90 degrees facing the user. The open frame architecture maintains alignment and accessibility for cable routing and service. HLP8U31LG ships with a rear body, door cover, 2U rails (HLP2UR), 8U main mounting rails (HLP8UFR), up to two installed locking latches (DLRKHLP), 25 10-32 mounting screws and installation instructions; wall mounting hardware is not included. The drawing also shows a 4-inch fan mount grill pattern and knock-outs top and bottom.
