Hammond HGV195 1950mm Vertical Grid Straps, 2200mm HME Fit

The HGV195 is a pair of 1950 mm (76.77 in) Vertical Grid Straps, the longest vertical strap in the HMEGS Series. It is listed as fitting the full height of a 2200 mm HME cabinet, for integrators and panel shops building a continuous vertical mounting grid in the tallest HME enclosures.

Each strap is 75 mm (2.95 in) wide and formed from 14 gauge galvanized steel, listed by Hammond as plated steel. The drawing shows an overall length of 1949 mm (76.73 in) against the 1950 mm nominal size. Like all HMEGS grid straps, the face carries a pattern of alternating square holes for cage nuts and round holes for M5 or #12 screws at standard 25 mm centers.

Vertical Grid Straps mount flush to other straps using the included butt end bracket, creating a smooth, continuous mounting surface. For full-height use in a 2200 mm HME cabinet, the series notes that 75 mm wide Depth Grid Straps must be mounted in the cabinet above and below; to achieve a full height vertical strap, two 75 mm Depth Grid Straps are required for the top and bottom.

Square holes accept the cage nuts listed for the Grid System, and round holes accept the listed M5 and #12 thread forming screws, such as 1421HPTM525 (Hex/Phillips threadrolling M5 x 12 mm) and 1421CT25 (Pan/Phillips threadrolling #12-24 x 0.5 in). The straps are sold in pairs, packed in a box, and are REACH and RoHS compliant.
