Hammond HCT302411H 30x24x11 NEMA 3R Current Transformer Cabinet

HCT302411H is a 30 x 24 x 11 in NEMA Type 3R current transformer cabinet, the shortest single-door size in the HCT Series, for utilities contractors and electricians housing instrument CTs outdoors. It can also serve as a general purpose enclosure for junction, meter, transformer and relay applications.

The cabinet measures 30 in high, 24 in wide and 11 in deep (762 mm x 610 mm x 279 mm). The drawing shows a 24.20 in wide door over a 21.99 in wide door opening, with ground studs on both the door and the body. The single door uses a hasp/screw closure with padlocking provisions, hangs on permanently installed lift-off hinges and can be removed.

Body and covers are formed from 14 gauge galvanized steel, with the series specification calling for 12 gauge on units 30 in and wider. An integral drip shield top and seam-free sides help shed water, mounting holes are provided through the back of the enclosure, and mounting studs accept an optional inner panel, listed as 18P2721 for this size. Cover and enclosure are phosphatized and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray polyester powder inside and out.

The HCT Series is rated UL 508A Type 3R and complies with NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529, IP24, providing protection against rain, sleet, snow and dripping water. HCT302411H is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant and ships boxed at 85 lbs (38.56 kg).
