Hammond HCM192BK 2 in Offset Horizontal Cable Bar, 10-Pack

The HCM192BK is a horizontal cable management bar — a formed steel lacing strip that mounts to 19-inch EIA-310 rails and creates 2.00 in (51 mm) of standoff space behind rack-mounted equipment. It is intended for IT, network, telecom and AV installers who need to support, route and anchor cable bundles behind patch panels, switches and servers without giving up an enclosed cable manager's worth of rack space. Each HCM192BK order is supplied in a pack of 10 bars.

Construction is mild steel with a black powder coat finish (described on the drawing as painted black smooth). The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance goals, and the part is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America for government and institutional procurement requirements.

Overall dimensions are 0.62 in (16 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.00 in (51 mm) deep, with a 90-degree offset that holds cable bundles clear of the mounting rails. Mounting flanges use the standard 19-inch pattern on 18.31 in (465 mm) centres, and the bar face is slotted with 0.188 in x 1.00 in slots for lacing cord or hook and loop straps such as the TS Series. Hook and loop straps are not included with this part, and mounting hardware is not included.

Because the HCM192BK is low profile rather than a full rack unit, bars can be placed flexibly on the rails or stacked vertically to handle larger cable volumes. Supporting cable weight in this way reduces strain on connectors and ports, helps maintain proper bend radius, and reduces congestion behind equipment for better airflow and long-term reliability.
