The H13148U48BK is a 48U H1 Series data center server cabinet finished in RAL9005 Black, built for data centers, enterprise IT rooms, network closets and high-density server and storage deployments. It ships as an assembly of welded frame, two pairs of square-hole mounting rails, a vented front door, a vented split (barn-style) rear door and two interchangeable top panels, so integrators can populate it immediately with servers, switches and PDUs.
Construction is 14-gauge mild steel in a welded frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors, giving the platform its UL2416 listed 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating (UL file E474597). The cabinet is also seismic rated to 1,200 lb dynamic load against IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards, meets PCI DSS requirements for secure installations, and is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America. The black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.
Overall dimensions are 90.87 in (2308 mm) high x 31.50 in (800 mm) wide x 49.91 in (1268 mm) deep, with usable mounting space of 84.00 in (2134 mm) high and 45.00 in (1143 mm) deep. Two pairs of infinitely adjustable, EIA-310 compliant 12-gauge square-hole rails accept 10-32 cage nuts, and the 31.5 in wide rails add 12U of additional in-rail rack units — 1U cutouts usable for cable passthrough or mounting 1U equipment. Shipping weight is 362 lbs (164.20 kg).
Airflow and access are handled by perforated front and split rear doors with 79% open area and locking swing handles, surface-mounted so the full mounting depth stays usable. A solid top panel and a brushed cable-entry top panel are both included and interchangeable, and the top has 4.00 x 7.00 in knockout cable entries plus brushed 2.25 x 7.50 in entries. Four heavy-duty swivel casters, four 5/16-18 UNC leveling feet, grounding studs, a rear PDU mounting bracket and a 50-pack of mounting hardware are included on H13148U48BK. Side panels are not included and are ordered separately (H1SP48U48BK in black).
