Hammond H13142U42BK 42U 31.5in Wide Data Center Cabinet, 3,000 lb

The H13142U42BK is a 42U H1 Series data center server cabinet in RAL9005 Black, built for data centers, enterprise IT, network infrastructure and high-density server and storage deployments. It measures 80.37 in (2041 mm) high x 31.50 in (800 mm) wide x 43.91 in (1115 mm) deep overall, with a nominal size of 73.5 in x 31.5 in x 42 in (1,867 mm x 800 mm x 1,067 mm) and a shipping weight of 316 lbs (143.34 kg).

Construction is a 14-gauge mild steel welded frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors, UL2416 rated to 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) and seismic rated to 1,200 lb dynamic load per IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards. The cabinet ships with two pairs of infinitely adjustable, EIA-310 compliant 12-gauge square hole mounting rails (10-32 cage nut type) giving 73.50 in (1867 mm) of usable mounting height and 39.00 in (991 mm) of usable mounting depth. The 31.5 in wide rails add 12U of additional in-rail rack units for cable pass-through or 1U equipment.

Cooling and access are handled by a perforated front door and perforated split/barn rear door, both 79% open area with locking swing handles and lift-off hinges. One solid and one brushed cable-entry top panel are included and interchangeable, and the top offers two 4.00 x 7.00 in knockout cable entries plus four 2.25 x 7.50 in brushed cable entries. A rear PDU cable tray, four heavy-duty swivel casters, four 5/16-18 UNC leveling feet, grounding studs, ganging knockouts and a 50-pack of mounting hardware are included.

H13142U42BK is TAA-compliant and made in Canada, meets PCI DSS, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. Side panels are not included; order H1SP42U42BK (black) or H1SP42U42WH (white) separately. A white version of this cabinet is available as H13142U42WH.
