Hammond H12442U48BK Black 42U 24W x 48D Data Center Server Cabinet

The H12442U48BK is a 42U H1 Series data center server cabinet measuring 24 in wide and 48 in deep, finished in RAL9005 Black. It is built for data centers, enterprise IT rooms, network infrastructure installations and colocation or cloud environments where high-density server and storage equipment has to be housed securely with good airflow.

Construction is a 14-gauge mild steel welded frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors, a combination that is UL2416 listed with a 3,000 lb (1,360 kg) load rating (UL file E474597). The cabinet is also seismic rated to a 1,200 lb dynamic load under IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards, meets PCI DSS requirements, and is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America. The black powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Nominal size is 80.37 in H x 24 in W x 48 in D (2,041 mm x 610 mm x 1,219 mm); the series table lists overall dimensions of 80.37 in high, 24.00 in wide and 49.91 in (1,268 mm) deep including doors. Usable mounting space is 73.50 in (1,867 mm) high by 45.00 in (1,143 mm) deep, with a 19 in mounting width and a 17.81 in (452 mm) opening. Shipping weight is 295 lbs (133.81 kg).

H12442U48BK ships with the welded frame, two pairs of infinitely adjustable EIA-310 compliant 12-gauge square-hole rails with 10-32 cage nuts and a 50-pack starter kit of screws and cage nuts, a perforated curved front door and perforated split/barn rear door (both 79% open area with locking swing handles and lift-off hinges), one solid and one brushed cable-entry top panel, a rear PDU mounting tray, four heavy-duty swivel casters, four 5/16-18 UNC leveling feet and grounding studs. Side panels are sold separately as H1SP42U48BK (black) or H1SP42U48WH (white).
