The GRDBAR23 is a 23 in horizontal rack mount copper busbar from the GRDBAR Series. It fastens across a 23 in rack to give integrators, electricians and facilities teams a single, consolidated grounding point for the equipment installed in an enclosure, cabinet or open frame rack.
The bar is solid 0.188 in copper, 0.75 in high, 23.00 in (584 mm) wide and 0.19 in (5 mm) deep. Ten ground points are drilled and tapped for 10-32 screws and spaced at 1 in, and two Ø0.31 in (8 mm) ground lug holes accept a main ground lug connection. Equipment can be bonded to the bar using Hammond Bonding Wire Kits.
Installation is direct to EIA mounting rails: the drawing shows two 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots spaced 22.31 in (567mm) apart, and the mounting dimensions match the overall size at 0.75 in x 23 in. The kit includes the copper busbar, ten 10-32 x 0.375 in screws for bonding, two 10-32 x 0.625 in and two 12-24 x 0.625 in screws for mounting, two 0.25 in flat washers, twelve #10 flat washers and an instruction bulletin.
The GRDBAR23 is REACH and RoHS compliant and has a shipping weight of 1.35 lbs (0.61 kg). For 19 in racks, the same design is offered as the GRDBAR19.
