Hammond GKIT Universal Rack & Cabinet Ganging Kit, 8 Screws

The GKIT Universal Ganging Kit is hardware for joining compatible Hammond open frame racks and enclosed rack cabinets into a single, more stable multi-bay installation. It suits IT and data center teams, telecom installers, AV integrators and industrial controls builders who are adding a bay to an existing row or assembling a new line of racks and want the frames mechanically tied together.

The kit uses heavy-duty steel joining hardware to fasten adjacent frames at multiple points along the vertical members. Connecting racks at several locations improves overall rigidity, reduces movement during equipment installation and maintenance, and helps hold cabinets in alignment for a clean, professional-looking equipment row. Because it works with existing frame holes, GKIT is well suited to expanding installations without modifying cabinet frames.

Each GKIT is supplied as a complete kit with eight screws, washers and nuts for quick installation. Shipping weight is 0.3 lbs (0.14 kg). The kit is compatible with Hammond 2-post and 4-post open frame racks, plus the C4, C4RR, CLC, DCZ4 and H1 Series rack cabinets.
