Hammond FDS2424LG 24x24 in Fold Down Shelf, RAL 7035 Light Gray

The FDS2424LG is a Hammond Fold Down Shelf with a 24 x 24 in work surface. It supports the equipment used temporarily to service or program switchgear inside enclosures, giving electricians, controls technicians and facilities teams a fold down surface to support that equipment while they work.

The shelf is steel finished in RAL 7035 Light Gray (manufacturer description: Fold Down Shelf - 24x24 - Steel/Lt Gray). The work surface measures 24.00 in (610 mm) wide by 24.00 in (610 mm) deep, and the listed size (H x W x D) is 1 in x 24 in x 24 in (25 mm x 610 mm x 610 mm). The shelf supports up to 100 lbs weight capacity.

It mounts with bolts and sealing washers through the enclosure door or sides, and maintains UL, CSA and NEMA ratings. The FDS2424LG drawing shows the shelf folding through 90°, a 24.94 in side-view dimension and a 7.64 in dimension in the folded side view, four Ø0.28 in mounting holes, and back-view dimensions of 20.00 in, 18.50 in and 6.38 in.

Shipping weight is 25 lbs (11.34 kg) and it ships in a box. The FDS2424LG is RoHS and REACH compliant. The same 24 x 24 in size is also offered in ANSI 61 gray (GY) and 316 stainless steel (S16) versions.
