Hammond FAN80AC230 80 mm 230 VAC Tube Axial Fan, 32 CFM

The FAN80AC230 is an 80 mm tube axial cooling fan from the Hammond DNMF Series, intended for electronic enclosures, server cabinets and other rack systems where steady airflow protects sensitive equipment. It runs on 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz at 0.05 amps and delivers 32 CFM of free-flow air at 3100 RPM with a rated noise level of 34 dB, drawing 11 W at 50 Hz and 10 W at 60 Hz.

Construction is built for continuous duty: ball-bearing fan construction, a diecast aluminum body and metal fan blades. The housing is black painted aluminum and the fan itself is black painted steel, with the DNMF Series finished in smooth black powder paint. The motor is impedance-protected and Class-B insulated.

Overall dimensions are 3.15 in x 3.15 in x 1.50 in (80 mm x 80 mm x 38 mm), with the drawing showing a 38.30 mm (1.508 in) depth and a 71.50 mm (2.815 in) square mounting hole pattern using 4.50 mm (0.177 in) diameter holes. Mounting hardware is included: four panhead self-tapping 10-32 x 1/2" screws. Unlike the plug-terminated fans in the series, FAN80AC230 is supplied with 11 in long wire leads, so no separate fan cord is needed for termination.

Fan components are recognized to UL 507 and CSA certified to C22.2 No. 113, and the series table lists this fan with UR, CSA and CE ratings. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the manufacturer's standards data also lists it as TAA compliant.
